1989 Ducati 750 sport cam belt drive shaft endfloat

Post by ducati750nz »

Hi all,
assembling a engine at the moment which has two ball race bearings at either end of the cam belt drive shaft. With the cases bolted up the shaft has 56 thou endfloat. What should the endfloat be? and does the shim just go on the alternator side?
