Appreciate no bar on site or food as at last gathering but was looking at maybe sorting transport into nearby Hexham for the main evening meals. Alternatives are cans and a camp fire/ BBQ etc. This is just a suggestion I think Hexham area looks good as a central meet area.

The Facebook site has also been linked and has received interest.

Keen to sort venue soon as will be publishing / promoting event in some UK rags if they come through with offers.

Guys doubt whether I will get chance to do this. Was going to get the bike fixed up, some work on the electrics and I have a brand new engine on the bench, 907 swing arm and few other bits need grafting on first.

This is a long way from my base - a round trip of 750 miles so it would be great to know that the venue is going to be supported by more locally based Paso riders... Let's hope for a good rallying call over the next few weeks.

After the success of the small but very enjoyable gathering in Mid Wales in the Autumn it was decided to select an "up north" option to give people in Scotland and the very north of England a closer venue.

Unfortunately the response has been very poor and as I have already said it is a potentially huge trip for me and it would be for all four of the owners who attended the initial event earlier this year.

If there is no appetite for this event from owners in the area I suggest we look to arrange the event more central - perhaps in the Midlands?

I appreciate fully the issues with bikes ( we are all fellow sufferers ) but this thread does seem to indicate that there will not be much support for the weekend at the moment.

Just my thoughts....

Yo ho ho and a happy new year.

As previously stated I am more than happy to relocate the venue if it means a more practicable solution to the situation for those wishing to attend.

I have not set anything in stone as of yet.

However the choice will be left open till mid January 2015 when I will re assess and offer an alternative suggestion.

Folks the important thing is are you interested in a Gathering ?

Please ask those that you may know whom may not frequent this site so often if even not at all.

Please also keep checking the Thread Header for updates.

Midlands would be preferable to me.
Can I (re)suggest this as a venue. Central location with good facilities. Landlord is into paso's. I met him about 12 years ago, top bloke, (with a good spares collection which might be handy).

Keith it's already on my radar I have a long memory and to be honest it sounds ideal considering the location. This was my thinking / idea for the 3rd Gathering later in 2015 but to be honest we have to be practicable for those who want to attend

OK guys, I think I have found THE venue......http://www.thegreenmanpub.ltd.uk/

A pub with accomodation and camping with 24hr WC/basins........in Lincolnshire down the road from Cadwell,
but the best bit is Tim the landlord is a Pasofanatic. Ive known him for about 10yrs when he was converting a 906 to a 907. I've spoken to him today and he's well up for it. Cheers, Keith.

Please allow me to see were this thread and views go by Mid January before you book your room this time

I think it was Rhino who booked a room last time The Green Man was considered. The way things are going with hardly any response from this forum I think 2 meets a year is optimistic, a yearly well attended meet has to be better than 2 badly attended ones.
