Homologation Plate for '88 750 Sport

Post by rembadger48 »

My Japanese '88 750 Sport has had its frame painted white (to look like an 851?), and no factory homologation plate is fitted. I'm looking for such a plate to fit to mine, as per Australian market...should have 'DUCATI ZDM 750S' along the top, E3 (circled) lower left, and four boxes, 10 and 0144210 in the top two boxes, and 41 and 0144004 in the lower two boxes. Black aluminium plate, with light silver letters/numbers, measures 70mm x 34mm. Anyone got such a thing??

Also, my Sport has the Meccanica badge on the rear cowl, with the VIN number stamped on it, proving its Japanese provenance. Would there be a market for these if I got some repros made? Or is someone already making them...?
