Alternative mirrors for the Sport?

Post by ducinthebay »

What mirrors are you using on your Sport? I'm in the market to put some new ones on my bike.

1. The stock mirrors are hard to find, and frankly, don't look quite right to me.

2. I used the Emgo mirrors for a while, but they wouldn't stay in place, and got broken after a few years.

3. I then spent too much money on some carbon fiber Lockhart Phillips mirrors, that had too many issues to list, and won't stay in place. Pretty, but pretty useless. (kinda like a girl I know)

Any recommendations? I like the rectangle shaped mirror, and some stems long enough to see past my elbows.

Cheers, Phil

I personally do like the OEM round Vitaloni mirrors, but they are quite expensive if you can even find them.

I have been thinking of the Vitaloni California mirrors, but would like to see images of them mounted to a similar bike, as it looks like there might not be much adjustment on them.

If all else fails, I will look into a nice set of bar end mirrors.
