Good condition fork leg (s) wanted

Post by steveT2 »

A bit of a long shot :-( just wondering if anyone has a pair of good fork legs forsale for my Sport, good meaning no cracks or repairs, i have just had the fork seals replaced but it seems that a previous owner had tried to get the seals out and cracked one of the legs, it could be welded but would prefer not to....... anyone.

Thanks
Steve

Pix ? . If its not to bad you could rebuild it with epoxy liquid steel or Devcon ............if its just the lip at the top of the outer leg

I am sure it can be repaired but it would be nicer to replace it.....

That happens when a screwdriver is used to lever the seal out.
One of my fork legs had exactly the same. Had it welded. It sure cost a lot less than another fork leg and now I can`t even say which of the two it was.

If you prefer another fork leg try Rudy (you`ll find some of his posts in the classified section)

I have a pair in good condition if you want them. If you pay postage you may have them or any of the other bits and bobs from them. I'm in the USA. -C
