Hi how can you get the oil filter off without the key in the manual

They can be a bit poxy to get a hold of , you can stab a hole in it with a decent sized screwdriver and then use that as a handle , I just bought a whole kit from Repco's which is a lot of different sized cup shaped things with a 3/8 square drive hole for the socket set . they come on lots of diameters with different amounts of flats to suit all spin on filters. I don't know the size of the Ducati ones for sure ( think it 65mm x 14 flats ) but if you want I could go check for sure. The cups are available separately but the whole kit ( with about a dozen cups ) was F A dearer than the one size I needed at the time .

I have various oil filter removal tools but I find this one is best overall.
