Rear brake disc alternative

Hey there

For my absurd 17 inch conversion I decided to get some spoked wheels handmade in Italy. So far so good. Front brakes have been converted to the newer type 320 mm brembo discs, but the rear brake is still the good old one.

So my question is, what slightly newer type brake disc will fit in the mounting pattern, if any? Nevermind the size, as I intend to change the caliper setup as well.

Best regards
Michael

A while back I was looking for an alternative rear rotor but I couldn't find one. The inner diameter is 136mm, the mounting hole diameter is 154mm. The problems begin with most other discs only having 4 or 5 mounting holes not 6.
Have a look at the Brembo catalog (there's a link in the 907IE FAQs) or in the one from TRW https://app.box.com/s/rm3vci2pg7hlwmvjbdyk
If you find something let us know.

After quite some search throughout the web I finally ended up with a BrakeTech disc.
I was looking for a floating rotor.

From what I understood Michael has the old brake disc on his new rear rim. The brake disc bolt pattern of the 16" and 17" rims is different so the BrakeTech one won't fit.
Looks nice tho. All the rest does, too

Thanks!

I'm not so familiar with the older 16" wheels.
I thought all 17" are mostly the same, except for axle diameter maybe.

Paso750 is right. I have had some custom 17 inch wheels made, and as it is now I am using the original rear brake disc. I was just wondering if I could find a disc that would match the newer type brembo discs. But if seems to be a bit difficult. Luckily, the rims are made with bolt-on brake disc adapters, but it will be quite expensive if I I need to have a new disc adapter machined.
