Wow, that's pretty cool, and reasonably priced. That certainly looks to be the best alternative, and having the choice of timing is pretty cool.

Be careful, ask questions. There is no address on the web site. It is also too cheap. It is un-Australian to be dishonest but he may not really be Australian. Check it out before you send your money.

I can assure anyone that Cliff Jeffries really do exist.
I use his MyECU injection and had several mail contacts w him.
He also runs a forum, http://www.cajinnovations.com/yabb0 , and is active at others.
A quite clever 1 man business.

Relax Jomo, the guy is legit. I wouldn't have posted it if I hadn't done some research first.I didn't want to be responsible for fellow Ducatisti being ripped off.

Hi all,

I wonder if the tunable ignition unit by Ignitech can also be used to replace the Digiplex functionality? http://www.ignitech.cz/english/aindex.htm

I know they have a good reputation on the later 2V Ducati's. http://www.bikeboy.org/ducati2vignition.html

I bought one of their TCIP4 units as a replacement for dead stuff on my 1994 2V Duc based on the recommendation of a friend running one on his 900SL. The parts arrived OK and the company was good to communicate with, but unfortunately I'm yet to install it and test it (endless engine rebuild saga).

Maybe cheaper too at around 130-140 euros depending on the type.

Just a thought,

Mick

Dunno about the Ignitech as a replacement f Digiplex
but otherwise only positive.
Have one on my M900, very good, many other Monsters has as well.
Friend has one on Paso 750 (original Kokusan), very good.
Nice little gadget!
