Alternator cover
I am trying to get the alternator cover off with the engine in the frame so that I can replace a duff starter motor. The cover has moved by 2-3 centimetres with the aid of a puller but now seems jammed on the side stand anchor point. Am I missing something or do I have to take the engine out of the frame to get the cover off. Can it really be that difficult ?

Re: Alternator cover
remove the lower frame rail if the cover hits it.

Re: Alternator cover
Thanks.
Clearly I was missing something. I am too used to old British bikes with one piece frames. I will remove the left hand cradle which looks like that should allow the cover to come off so that I can get at the starter motor bolts.
