Gday mate,

The best advice I can give, is get one that is sorted....e.g....fuel injected, 17" wheels, Brembo Goldlines, etc etc.

Oh, thats a 907ie, sorry.

Welcome to the mad house.

Cheers

the bike has come down in price which makes it feasable to do the full service its gonna need and the tyre change and all that involves. it looks good in the pictures. i love my 906 and they are a unique ride when running well. keep it as it is and help to keep the 906 alive. see you at the paso get together!  :)

I bought a bike which was in excellent physical condition and appearance but which had been stored for over 6 years. It cost me over $4000 to get a very long list of things done: all bearings, fluids, forks, chain, cam belts, tune, tyres, battery, Hi-Cap starter, new starter motor... etc etc etc.

For me at least, it made more sense to buy one which looked damn good, and fix it mechanically (even though there was "nothing wrong with it" - yeah right!) rather than try to find a good mechanical one which needed a lot of cosmetic treatment.

And question: what's the difference between a good Paso and a bad one? About 2 owners and 6 years of storage. :P

Mine owes me about $8K now - and it is running beatifully -although I get the distinct impression I'm going to be doing the starter Sprag at the end of the year.
