Tunnel f Idle mix screw looks shortened to fit another screw.
If the threads are good (check w original one), just buy a new one.
On it there should be a washer, spring & Oring.

Can anyone tell me the fuel pressure I should be running the BDST 38's at?

In case you don`t already have that pump why not an underpressure pump from a SS/Monster or Yamaha TDM/TRX 850 ? They all use the Mikuni setup.

My family own and operate a automotive repair shop. While shopping for a Redline/Weber fuel pump (something cheep to get that bike started) on our parts catalog I came across the Pierburg fuel pump. Again because my family owns a repair shop I'm able to get very good prices on parts. I figured Id go the Audi/Lamborghini route and mix Italian style with German reliability (The Pierburg being German).

Well for future readers of this post, it looks like the Mikuni 38 BDST fuel presure is 3-4psi.
