Re: Venhill Install
I wonder why one end isn`t by 90° turned or can you do that ? If both are the same the line has to be warped which is not ideal.

Re: Venhill Install
I too ordered a hose from Venhill. When I get it, I will also post pictures of the my install, but on the Sport page. I like the fact that you can rotate the fittings on the Venhill stuff. I have a box of hoses, but many I can't use because the heads are in the wrong orientation.
Cheers,
Cheers,

Re: Venhill Install
Are you sure?
I guess the clutch line is too long for the 907.
The 906 one has to come to the clutch cover.
Ciao

Re: Venhill Install
Length could be different but the fittings are the same, clutch line was a custom fit now that you mention it

Re: Venhill Install
Didn`t both version exist for the 906 depending on model year ? I can`t really rememberThe 906 one has to come to the clutch cover.
I replaced the clutch line with a braided brake line from a scooter. I think it was a Peugeot. It took a while to find one with the right banjos and length but it was really cheap and works just fine.

Re: Venhill Install
The Venhill Clutch Line Custom Kit Thanks to Chris at Venhill USA
The old line at the master
The old line at the cover
Cheapo bleed setup..5 dollar flavor injector of 1 ounce capacity, You could most likely find one for a dollar at your
local dollar store Please note Jonboy Slocums coffee can/vacuum cleaner method works just as well.....
Atta boy Jon Hope you are home with your family today
Took very little to bleed it completely...3/4 of an ounce of air and two fills on the master and ready to go
Well except my regulator jobs needs to be completed
Up next the new front brake line setup and the pictures I forgot of the new clutch line fittings
My apologies to Chris, so sorry and Happy Thanks Giving to all who celebrate this day

Re: Venhill Install
For the brake lines there are several options. I went for the two line direct eliminating the equilizer/brake pressure switch. This requires a new option for the brake light switch of which there are two. One is a two line banjo bolt with a pressure switch at the master or the one I most likely will do is to install the Brembo Microswitch on the lever ala the 907ie. I got both of these from Bevel Heaven
The old lines removed: 21 years old well past time to go
the new lines
One comment in passing, the banjo bolt supplied with the brakeline kit was about 4mm too long.
In the interest of time I ground it down, I have no doubt Chris would have happily swapped me with the correct bolt if I asked . I also removed the front fender and brace to make the installation at the calipers easier. It's a tight fit otherwise
I will also remove the calipers and hang them higher than the master to make bleeding easier
