Ignitech for 906?
Is there an Ignitech available to replace the Digiplex in case of unrepairable failure? Would one have to fit Kokusan type ignition pick ups and flywheel, or would it be plug and play?

Re: Ignitech for 906?
I emailed Ignitch asking that very question and this was their reply:
Hello
There are two possibilities :
1) unit TCI (unprogrammable).
2) unit TCIP4 standard (programmable).
Both our unit do not contains sensor of inlet pressure (original unit it contains inside). But we think that this is possible run our unit on this bike without this sensor. We made this many times.
Unfortunately we have not original connector. You have cut original connector and to use another connector delivered with our unit.
What is your country ?
Regards.

Re: Ignitech for 906?
Another one to try is Silent-Hektik in Germany. Haven't used the product myself but it seems to be a plug in replacement and they also offer coils and leads claiming improved performance over the standard items. You can use google translate to get more info from their mainly German web site.
They were quite responsive when I enquired in more detail some years ago.

Re: Ignitech for 906?
Thanks.
I like the Ignitech. Set your own map for high compression pistons and fuel availability. Cool.
The water cooled 906 seems a good candidate for a high comp/big bore kit.
