On mine it is on top of the right hand handlebar. An orange 3 position switch just above the starter button. Middle position run and either side of this is kill.
If you go to the Paso documents on this site and download the owners manual on page 17 it shows you a diagram of where it is.

as you`re speaking about the left handle bar. It seems US models didn`t have a light switch, just a blind cover instead of it. The light is always on and cannot be tunred off like on european models.

Sorry I misunderstood. I thought you were referring to the engine on/off and not the lights on/off. :?

I don't see where he ( badhabrace ) mentions "left" and any how them yanks don't know left from right :D , I mean they'll tell you that they drive on the right side , which is wrong , where as I drive on the right side which is left. I once had a left hooker mustang and I had to drive on the wrong right side to make sense of that,( still don't know what a corn dog is ) that was fun 'till one of the approaching cars turned on the red and blue lights, but then the stupid cop gave the ticket to the guy in the passenger seat..... Oh how we laughed...... till he found the bag :smoke: and tipped out all our piss  but he put us up for the night . Good times

Perhaps badhabrace will post to clarify all this confusion. Incidentally, do you race those things or just barbecue them :D
