New to Paso ownership and to this forum. Thought I would post a couple pics of my rescue. the first one was of the day I brought it home and the second is of my current progress. still working on the fiberglass and waiting on some parts. I have made a few mods. Since it was abused enough to preclude a correct resto anyway, I integrated the turn signals into the tail light and plugged the mirror cutouts on the fairing to make way for some more useful mirrors.

Replacing the mirrors with some others usually results in something really bad looking.
Although it might look a bit odd as well I`d rather make spacers in shape of the mirror and stick to the original ones.

I had considered that it may not look right with aftermarket mirrors but my hand was forced by the fact that one is missing and the one remaining mirror is damaged and finding replacements with a pre-med daughter and a son heading to an engineering school is out of the budget. my plan is to fashion the "fillers" that the new ones will mount to out of polycarbonate so that in the future I can restore it to original if cheap mirrors become available.
