906 silencers

Post by Keno »

I've been looking into getting some original silencers (mufflers) for my 906. My bike is a US model.
The parts manual lists two different numbers for one side. For example on left:
57410091A LH silencer
57410051B LH silencer CH-A
Which is correct for US model?
What are the differences?
What does CH-A stand for?
And does anyone have a super nice pair (of silencers) or NOS?
Thanks

At a guess I'd say that CH-A stands for Switzerland and Austria, which probably had stricter noise regulations than the rest of Europe.
