Interestingly, the metal plate is written in Germany, but Paso has been imported into the USA. The production line does not match the production of red Paso for the US. In 1989, only 400 pieces were produced in Europe. He was transferred to Japan in 1991 and returned to Europe.

..."those times" there was "chaos" in Ducati factory (as Ducati near fall down) and there was very many strange things what happened just in "Paso times"....

Ducati DIDNT managed to sell enough Paso's in USA (as price was too high compared to jap bikes) and thats why rest of them "sailed around world" and at the end they were sold in Europe for lowered price. TRUTH! UGH!

The way I finally sorted things out was to just contact Ducati directly. They asked me to send pics of all the numbers as well as some overall pics of the bike. they were very quick in responding and I was surprised at how much info they have on record.
