I wonder how many survive

Post by odd duc »

I wonder how many of these things are still alive. particularly, of the 250 red 906's that were sent to the states I wonder how many are still alive. It can't be more than a handful.

I have no accurate idea how many survive in the States but at the local bike meeting once a month in Seattle, out of the 300 or so bikes that show up, I have not seen one other than mine. But about 4 years back on a 4 day ride with friends, in the middle of absolute nowhere, eastern Oregon, while I was gassing mine up a 907 Tri Colore rode by. I was dumbfounded as that was the first and only time I had seen another 907 while riding. There have to be a few hundred in the US at least if two of them were in the same remote place at the same time coincidentally.
