750 Paso starter also looks different compared to 907IE (in spare part catalogues)

Yes, the 906 and 907 have the same starters. They are basically the same 90cc engine. The Paso 750 though uses a Pantah engine and, as I understand, has a shorter starter and the later starter won't fit.

Derek, do you know? I seem to recall that some Ducati starters have a pinion with a different number of teeth and are therefore not interchangeable.
