Aftermarket Seat Options

Post by TIX »

Hi...Ive just purchased a 91 model 907 and Im looking at seat options. What attracted me to this idea in the beginning was a picture of a 907 with a Corbin seat.I love the way they make the rear of the seat appear to be a seat cowl. i.e. red material. Corbins are very expensive here in Australia. Because of this Im now looking at the Sargent option....particulary, the sport skins cover. This is similar to the Corbin ,only a manufactured D.Y.I. cover. Can anyone give me feedback on either of these options??There is also a leather Vs vinyl issue.

Thanks for your input guys...Just missed bidding for that E/Bay seat.Didnt look too bad & went for $66 U.S.( was all black )Thanks.
Hmm.Interesting set up Mark. I notice that they also have replacement front screen in redesigned fiberglass fairing.Pitty pictures are in black & white ...very interesting. Yeah thanks Mike, I am leaning toward the Corbin at this stage. Sargent referred me to an Australian distributer. They must not need my business as they have not replied to my enquiries as yet.( funny how the American businesses are so enthusiastic. They hand it over to our Aussies & things just bog down. ( were very layback over here  )........More feedback appreciated. When I sort it all out Ill let you know .....Pictures & all.

FWIW I have the gunfighter as well, and it's lower than the canyon dual. i find the seating position cramped with the gunfighter installed. YMMV.
