907 fuel pump...
Hello guys, it has been a while since I don't place a post here but I have been looking and reading as usual in order to stay updated. Now, this is my situation. I have my beautiful 1992 907ie which is running great! Since I live in the Florida state I use it very often and I believe this helps her stay in shape! Unfortunately, I was lurking on E-Bay and found a "USED" 907 fuel pump for $530.00 Now, I am having nightmares about what if my bike fuel pump dies because of age! Could I get a good electric fuel pump that pumps the same fuel pressure and install it outside of the tank? Honestly, I am not comfortable paying that kind of money for an electric fuel pump. To a point that I have considered selling the bike before it gets to that time for a fuel pump replacement! I really love the bike and would hate to sell it but I refuse to pay $500.00 for a used or even new electric fuel pump. Please, if someone has had this problem I will appreciate your help and comments or suggestions! I really appreciate and thank all of you who take the time to suggest and help me with this problem! Actually nightmare!

Fuel Pump
Thanks Francesco! That's all I wanted to hear! I supposed it but needed some confirmation. Since there are parts that I have no experience with yet I figured maybe there was actually something special or unique about this WEBER fuel pump! Whew! :funny: Thanks again, I can go back to sleep relaxed now! So, for the $530.00 USD used fuel pump on E-Bay!!! :neener:
Regards,
Vickon

I asked that 907IE fuel pump from factory/Bologna about 5 years ago, when i visited there and that time it was already "sold out" from Ducati(Not anymore available). There was one very helpfull guy, Andrew Eichler, or Aichler) and he visited spare parts deparment and he found, that not anymore... But that time price of pump was 1 000 000 Italian liras, IF it would be still available. Frankie, how many € would that amount be ????
They use outside pump in injected 900 Cagiva Elephant and surely that pump will fit to 907IE also, cause samekind injection with P7 ECU. Remembering, that this discussion can be found in some old topic also..... remembering also, that there was some Bosch pump, what will be exact same, as original, but cant remember ordering number, sorry.... Too old head! Have anybody younger one with longer hairs ???? I can make an offer...

Lit. 1.000.000 are €. 516.
Yes there was an old topic about the fuel pump.
No matter, it isn't a problem.
P.S. I'm very happy it's ended the long hair time. The short hair is too much confortable.
Ciao
