New 907 IE owner
I went to the TT races on a CBR 600FW & came back on a 1993 registered 907IE. I am delighted with my "swop" but want to make the bike perfect - any tips you can give regarding original positions of stickers etc.
For example on the rear end just above the brake light the "made in Italy" sticker doesn't fit into the "box". I know it's sad but I want my Duke to look right.
The previous owner put on some performance pipes and it sounds great! 13,000 miles on the clock and the little elephant on the yoke will do a lot more!
Any tips re original state would be appreciated.
Thanks Rogero

I don't know what part of the world you are from, but my North American '91 has a sticker in that box warning not to use the back handle to lift the bike. Probably the worst placed sticker on the bike. I always thought that someday I would remove it and put something more personal there.

Congrats on the new stablemate and welcome to the site!
Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.

my 906 says "made in Italy" in the box @ the back it is written rather small & there is plenty of space around it. There has been the colours of the italian flag added either side of teh lettering on mine but this was done by the last owner. The "Made in Italy" looks original

I have filled the "box" with an italian flag sticker - looks fine to me now!
Just downloaded ( thanks to the site ) the launch booklet and a review article, when did they stop / start sticking indicators on stalks on the 907ie's? Mine have the winkers in the rear light cluster - the one "on test" looks different. Are US models different?
Just can't stop smiling when I look at her either. Marvellous!!!
