When I accelerate full throttle and the needle is just past the 8000 rpm my 907 starts to stutter. It's not that I always ride my bike in those high rpms, but what could it be? The fuel pump cant handle it?
Furthermore no problems, from 0 to 200 km/h goes perfectly, no speeding-tickets yet...

stuttering between 8000 and 9000 rpm

It sounds to me that your cps or rpm sensor is having trouble keeping up with the engine speed, giving faulty info to the ECM. I would recommend checking the sensors and wiring.
If the pump is not delivering enough fuel (or the filter is obstructing), the power would simply be decreased first, without stuttering.
Did this problem occur suddenly or gradually?
For sensor info check my web site (see 907 link page)

I had never run mine up that high so I tried it on the way home last night and sure enough it kicked in at about 8700.drsmig wrote:It sounds like that might be all it is. Mine seems to kick in somewhere close to 9000rpm. It might be as low as 87-8800. It sounds like that is all you are experiencing on yours if everything else seems fine.
