907 ie Part needed HELP!

Post by angelo »

I have a 93 907 that needs a pert to run. Where can I find a plastic pressurized tank that sits next to the radiator? The tank has cracked and I cannot find a part anywhere The part number I am looking for is called the expansion tank. HELP!

They are hard to find but Brian Conner on the yahoo list found a guy in Denver who can make you an aluminum replacement. Brian posted photos at http://bc.smugmug.com/gallery/92540/1/10322628 so you can see it. I had the guy make me one to keep as a spare. It took a while but I was not in a hurry. His name is Chuck Cometto and his phone number is (303) 914-9342.
