Hi Nick. I wanted to bother you one more time. I have all my parts togeth#r. Before I ruin something, I take the spring out of the sprag and throw it away. Then take the spring out of the SKF seal and put it in the sprag where the old slrag spring.was. Is that corrext?

Thanks a million

Yep, that's what you do. Don't forget to wrap the sprag in tape before you pull the spring out, otherwise all the little sprags go everywhere!

Cheers.

Nick.

Ah Ha! I was wonderingwhat was the purpose of putting a spring there. Its a little greasy, but no problem. Good thing I asked before they flew all over the kitchen. I had to buy 5 of the seals to get an actual SKF seal. Many places that say they sell SKF only actually sell generic seals. If anyone else ever has to change a sprag, I have 4 extra seals.
