I just got myself a cheap one and noticed again how much wrong info there is on ebay.
If anyone wants to buy a spare (and then reduce some if its weight ;)) be sure to get the right one.

907ie (1.850g)

early 851 i.e. 1989 851 Monoposto (different splines in the flywheel carrier and only 5 mounting bolts instead of 7)

1992 851 Strada (same as above)

1993 888 (same as 907ie)

888 SP (1.400g)

1989/1990 900SS (5 mounting bolts, 5 trigger fingers!)

The 907ie flywheel is interchangeable with the ones of the Ducati 888 (SP, '93-), 916S 1994, 916 SP 94-96 and 916 SPS til 98, Cagiva Elefant 900ie (so the models with Marelli P7 or P8 ignition). The flywheels of other 916 models with 1.6M computers will not fit.
The flywheels of carbed Ducs with Kokusan ignition (P750, Supersport, Monster etc) have no trigger fingers.

 I have wasted my time sending emails to some sellers posting wrong info. Not once has anyone made a change.
Buyer beware, know the parts you are looking for. Only Ed ever gets it right

The most common sentence must be "fits all Ducatis with dry clutch" :banghead:
