Higgy, my bike has not had a valve adjustment. It has over 20,000 miles on it. Do you think there are other shims I should order, besides what will be in the kit from EMS?

Before ordering, check the current valves clearance following the good method. Then you know if you need to order what is not in the kit.

Assuming nothing out of the ordinary, remember it is a Ducati, the kit Mike will send you should cover the job at hand. If for some unforeseen reason you need a shim outside the kit range Mike will swap you for the correct ones.
If time is an issue I would recommend checking the clearances and the shims you have before ordering the kit. Its the only way to be 100% sure you get what you need in the kit.

On my 907 I got what I needed the first time but as I remember I did have to grind two shims to get the clearance to nil on a closer or two. Not a big deal but tough on the fingers

There's no problem so bad that a little fixing can't make it worse! : )
