Yesterday was not a good day

I parked the 907 yesterday on slightly ground, I put down the side stand and got off the bike to watch it roll off the stand and fall on it's left side. There was nothing I could do but watch it topple  With hindsight of course I should have put it in gear - too late now :,(
The damage was exactly what you'd expect. LH fairing panel scored and cracked in two places at the top. The mirror housing broken and worst, the indicator lens smashed to smithereens :(
The fairing panel will mend, as will the mirror housing but, as we know, LH indicator lenses are like hen's teeth.
I have ordered a complete LH mirror assembly from Moto-Science. In the meantime I'll patch up what I have and use my spare (cracked) indicator lens to keep the bike running until I get it repainted properly in the winter.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. If its any help jeep has a new colour called firecracker code PRC which is a near spot on match its only on the wranglers so far, so if you see one around compare it.

Cheers
Bonza

I've located a 906 LH fairing panel in good condition. I don't want to spend money and then find that it isn't right for the bike. Are there any differences between the 906 and 907 fairing panels apart from the graphics?

As far as I am aware there is not a lot of difference, I was told that the only real difference is with the top fairing on the 906. However you may find that it doesn't line up hole wise quite as well as before as there are some variables in the holes due to manufacture and not as a result of any major changes, I have a 906 panel on mine and it really does not look any different.

Hi Bonza,

That would be very nice, but I'm think of having the whole fairing re-painted. So I'll need one for the other side too :)

I have always wondered why left side indicator lenses were hard to find. Sorry for your mishap but it all makes sense now.
