We are having a very wet winter in the UK! And I think this is keeping the bikes inside. How is it where you are? My bike is all prepped for the spring, just waiting for the sun ☀️ to come out!

I was lucky enough to get in a day ride a few weeks back- the weather here was beautiful. But now we have freezing weather again as winter is in its final weeks. A good friend had a 90s BMW airhead and we are planning a ROTC (ride of the classics) weekend as soon as it clears up!

Same here in Scotland except the salt on the roads keeps my bikes off them until spring, usually about mid to late March.

The salt they put on the roads to stop ice causes bad corrosion if you don’t wash it off straight away in the UK. I don’t mind riding in the cold but I don’t want the Duke suffering!

It's not the rain that's the issue, that's normal :( , it's the cold weather causing icy roads which the local authorities lash loads of salt on to prevent it freezing.
