And how many volts do you think a "working"stator should put out? Seems to me,14.5v is right on the money.

It may have been erroniuos, but a duc mech told me that 12.5 to 13.5 was normal. Ive been trying to read the forums on this stuff, ive only owned the bike since june, last owner performed a low speed drop and quit riding it, it sat for two years, since then ive dumped 2k into it and now alls it really needs is a paint job, but this damn charging problem has me scratching. But as ive been reading it does seem that it is inherent of the paso. Now I just need a solution.

When running it should have 14.5 volts. It's the regulator that controls the voltage.

What seems to be the problem with the electrical system?

A bike of this age needs to have all electrical connections cleaned.

Also this thread should be moved to the 750 section.
