Yep, I've come to my senses. 906 no longer on the chopping block.
While my reasons for the initial decision were valid, there are just as many reasons to keep it. Thankyou Gerhard and Nick. Parting out is just too much work for me to do considering I work away and my wife was not prepared to package and post as she has no idea about bike components. Selling whole was not gonna work as offers were very low considering bike not running, so I had to fix anyway.
I will replace ECU, coils, leads, etc, now (my Fathers Day present from wife n kids) and anything else that may fail in the near future and leave me stranded roadside. That should make the bike reliable enough for me to have an enjoyable experience. With everything I've done and all I've spent, its practically a new bike anyway.
Thanks again Gerhard for your words of wisdom, you are so much more to this forum than just a moderator.
Thankyou Nick for your kind offer of the brush plate. It was very generous, but now not required.
