907ie WANTED

Greetings, I had a 907 about 10 years ago and foolishly parted company with her, since then I‘ve had four different Busas but I keep thinking about my first true bike love (OK that’s a bit strong I know). Is there anybody on here that could be persuaded to let their 907 go to a very good home? I’m hoping for one that’s been reasonably looked after and I’m willing to travel to find the right relationship with a proper cash exchange of course. Thanks in advance.

Welcome and I'd get bidding as this one looks like a low mileage one, not sure how close it is to you and also looks like a dealer sale. Probably set the reserve around the £2700 to £2900 mark? By the bids 7 others at the mo' with an interest.

That is not a '93 model though as it has the black Brembo calipers and 300mm brake rotors. It seems to have a US taillight, too.

Thanks Englshtiv, thanks Paso750, good spot. I’m all over it but that’s great information. Let you know how it goes.

Looking at the price now after a few more bids today I have a sneaky feeling their Reserve might now be stupidly close to the asking price :banghead:

Little bit of digging and found this is where it's at

Congratulations!
It says it was recently serviced. You should ask what recently means, not in milage but in years.

Purchase made, bike bought, I’m a 907ie owner, happy days.

Just need to choose the right moment to break it to the wife now, any ideas?

No longer looking for a bike but might need new accommodation

I think you should tell your wife that before the stock market crash ,you cashed the money in the pension and invested it in a future classic bike!

Congratulations and welcome to the family, don't be shy and appreciate we sometimes take weeks to answer a question on here as those of regular to the site tend to know where the search button is.

More pics will always be nice.

there is also an FB site not connected directly but parallel to this site which can often get a quick message about.

As for the missus stick a helmet on her head throw her on the back and go for a spin, she can scream all she likes you'll not hear a word and at the first pit stop she'll understand your thought process and treat you to a nice Apple cake.

It's only the depth that varies!

Welcome to the wonders of Paso/907 ownership. Fun, games and hilarity will follow.

Cheers.

Nick.
