thought I would share some photos of my last two weekends here in Perth. Its been a big two weeks so will split the rides up.
Firstly was the Northam M/C Festival. Great weekend at a town about 80-90kms out of the city. Pretty much a showcase of dealers, brands and activities available to riders here in the West of Oz.
Cant say for sure just how may bikes attended, but the first photo shows one of four starting points for the ride to the festival. You count them, I couldnt.
We left here in groups of about a hundred. Police had roads closed for us and a specific lane on the dual lane roads. Once in the country, it was mix it with the tin-tops.
My brother and I...he...."borrowed" my Z1000 for the event.
Outside the gate. Very well organised by the local shire government and the show.
Once inside, and to a large extent outside, this is what was on offer:-

Dont see too many JCS1000's on the road these days.
Or, Katana 1100's. Had one of these myself in a much younger life.
What more can I say.
Well, there is this one of course.
Turned out to be a pretty good day...a feast for the eyes.
One thing I did learn on the day though....I am developed an alergy to bee stings....copped one on the throat on the way home...spent 6 hours in hospital after a nice ambulance ride.
Fantastic.
