The Snowy Ride, [Australian event]

This is Australias main alpine region, more twisty than hilly.
Howdy,
hopefully going on this ride; Nov 6 2010.
The ride is a charity ride, you go to checkpoints [9 checkpoints, min 3 required for the giveaways] around the Thredbp area.

So far planning to take two days to get there, from Melbourne to Whittlesea, euroa, mansfield, whitfield,mt Buffalo, Mt hotham, omeo, corryong, tumut, khancoban by Friday night.
Do the ride on Saturday, Khancoban, Adaminaby, Cooma, Bombala, dalgety, Berridale, Jindabyne, Charlottes Pass, Thredbo, 450km if you do all the checkpoints, about 60km to do the minimum.
Staying in Thredbo Sat night, hopefully on the couch of some DOCV members.
Home via Merrimbula, Sale, Wilsoms Prom , Melb, two days as well.
There is a book called 200 rides around Aust, so my trip is planned to do as many as I can along the way!
Quite a lot of Ducatis go from all over, last year there was about 3500 participants.
