Great Scottish Classic Bike Show

I just spent a cold, wet and miserable weekend in Lanark at the Great Scottish Classic Bike Show with the Scottish Ducati Club and my 907ie on the display. I was rather pleased to find at the end of the show that my bike had been awarded the Best Post Classic Bike (post 1988) which rather made up for the 100 mile ride in both directions in rain and temperatures in single figures. I also found out about a guy who has a complete 907ie which has been dismantled and he would be willing to sell it for spares/repair. Here's a couple of pics from the show.

Congratulations Derek...bet you was well chuffed with that award after all that effort?

I went to the Stafford show the other weekend and was amazed at how busy it was there.....but no Paso on the Ducati stand which was a shame as there normally is one to view.

Out of interest what is that split 907ie likely to cost as a whole bike?

I don't know. I was given his name and mobile number but I haven't contacted him yet. It would be good to try to rebuild it as a complete bike rather than break it but I'm not up for a project at the moment. No space. :-(
I will try to find out more.
