I work in realestate and have my own investment company. After leaving school I dairy farmed for a many years. I have worked as a white water raft guide, in film (stunt work), on oil rigs on the north sea, Sold advertising and edited a monthly magazine and a lot more to get me around.

Hi all.
I'm a building services engineer specialising in vertical transportation (lifts, escalators, autowalks etc) and also a bit of mechanical services (heating, ventilation and air conditioning). The last 5 years have been as a consulting engineer. After saying that I have just changed jobs so I'm now regional manager for a fire protection company.

Had my Paso for 2 years now, reliving my youth as many years ago I had 2 bevel drives; a 750 Sport and then a 900 GTS.

Pensions / Company Pensions - consultant for a well known brand in the UK.

Took a year off after school and 26 years later still haven't decided what I want to do when I grow up!

Occupation? I'm Chief Mate on a chemical tanker running in the US Coastwise product trades. Currently on a time charter with Citgo, hauling products from their refinery in Lake Charles, Louisiana to receivers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

But when I retire, I'm going to open a shop to repair and restore older Ducati motorcycles! Sorry, no 999's need apply!

It's interesting that you're noticing trends in the kind of people that own Pasos. I have my own observations in my industry, what type of women marry sailors. 3 out of 9 officers on this ship are married to nurses, which seems statistically very high. Not sure what it means, other than they chose their career based on wanting to help people with something wrong with them, and anyone is this line of work definitely has got something wrong with them!

EDIT: Repaired broken link to photo

I'm a philosopher, a masseur, a writer, and a paso restorer. Even I spend my extra time attending a CNC machine in a small factory not far from my home... About 8 hours a day, 5 days a week...
:umm: I think I'd better ride than writing such things!!! :D
have a nice ride, Nicola

It looks like I'm waking up a topic that's been sleeping for quite awhile.

I'm a operating engineer, I don't think it will help your engineer tally though, since it's just a fancy title for a heavy equipment operator. I have run backhoes, crawlers, dozers, trenchers, compactors, skidloaders, etc.. I recently went back to running a conveyor, which is the machine I started out on. It is a truck mounted machine that pours concrete, stone, or just about any loose material.

Here is a picture of the machine I am currently running.

Gday Pasophiles, just got onto this resume. Better late than early I spose,I'm a 49 year old mid life crisis, my medications include Ducatis, Montesas ,Bultacos and Moto Guzzis. I am a certified Bullshit Artist with honors in Yaffling and Waffling, I am also studying Alloy Metal polishing,Italian and Spanish Versions(almost gave this away when the 907 hit the shop floor).Have undertaken courses in Beer Tasting and Drug Rehabililtation, both home based,(Consecutively). At the moment the world is my oyster as there is a great need for Top Bullshit Artists everywhere, look at our leaders, if only we can scale the great heights that champion Rhetoric Crappers achieve, our world will be safe for motorcyclists and kids!
Thank the lord the 907 sits patiently by, away from the polishing paste, ready for an onslaught at nearby Cornertown, just down from Swingabend Highway at Mountainpass Pass.(stutter).I feel honoured to be in such esteemed company as your good selves and am happy in the knowledge that I, with my depth of integrity and firm conviction in my insane belief base, can become(with time), loved and revered by my peers, cohorts, and concubines.
In closing , a quote comes to mind of a three time world champion Australian Pugilist,
"ILUVYA'SALL"-Jeff Fenech.... I reckon his opponents felt the same way about him too.

As Tom Waits puts it

I've been a cabbie and a stock clerk,
And a soda fountain jock jerk,
And a manic mechanic on cars"

But really:
5 years as a barrista
1 year as a Lambretta mechanic
6 years as owner-operator of hotel/cafe/bar
Same 6 years on local city council
2 years as transportation planner (now planning the arrival of a 750 Sport to compliment the 851 presently in the garage).[/i]

I'm lawyer and I'm working, as Rogero, in a pension company.

But, I'm a little bit envious of Nicola: I would also be a masseur (but only cute girls) :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:
