14th june and Dianne gets called into work and as I had just had a hrenia fixed 4 days ago the parting message was " and you stay off that -uckin motorbike"......... but it was a nice day and I figured that if I took her some lunch ..... what could she say , any how as I was packing I saw her heading my way and steeled myself for the verbal that I was sure was comming but she was bawling and said " I have a really bad feeling about this Haim please go straight home ", which I PROMICED I would ..Yeah vai the moutere hills . Seaton Valley road has a few really good humps in it and as I sailed over the second one there was a car sideways blocking the road . I dont recall the impact but I do remember flying thru the air ( turned out I landed 30 meters from inpact )and I really thought I was just winded , Took off my helmit and gloves just as the angels arrived (First aiders ) and was held down .I knew things were not good when someone said that the chopper I could hear was for me .they gave me ketomine ( good shit !) and flew me to the hospital where I very briefly saw Diannes face ( this was the worst part of the whole thing ) before surgeryImage this was my right leg.I was then flown to Christchurch orthopedic trauma ward where I had 7 more opps

I also had a ruptured spleen , liver , pancreas and right kidney , 9 broken ribs a punctured lung and a ruptured bowel. The driver has made no contact at all

must be something wrong with them magnets :D  Aw Higgy dont ruin it for me man, I was really lookin forward to the airport thing , I was even going to try to look really suss. ha ha.
Walked ( crutched ) out to the mail box today .... well worth the effort. There was a note from the local courier advising me of a refrigerated package , which they duely delivered , seems my good buddy Darrel thought wild venison and crayfish would be therapeutic. MMMM already looking forward to my next crash .... not!!
And "someone " has used my bike lock to chain up the guzzi ( and taken the key off my key ring ) so Id say I was busted ,( there will be a verbal follow up ....)

could you enjoy the chopper ride ? All I can remember from my only ride in an ambulance is the roof ventilator.
That "you`re" not magnetic is actually a good thing, means that stainless steel or titanium was used and nothing that would rust.
