I`m looking for a friction bearing PAP2510 P10 (which I think is currently being discontinued and replaced by PAP2510 P14). Measurements are Od 28mm, Id 25mm, W 10mm.
Any idea where I can get one ?
I encountered 2 problems so far. My usual SKF bearing dealer doesn`t have them, but can order them with a MOQ of 5 (SKF doesn`t have that size and would need to make them on demand). Price would be €16 ea. and I only need one. I`d take two if they were cheaper (in an italian price list from INA they cost only €2,03+tax).
Secondly most online dealers have a minimal order amount and I only need this.
Any input is welcome. thx
G.

They do single item sales should be no problem to Europe and exchange rate pretty good too

Does SKF make one of these? What exactly do you call a friction bearing? Is it like a plain spherical bearing/"Babbitt" bearing (like those used on rod and crank journals of small block Chevy engines)?paso750 wrote:I`m looking for a friction bearing PAP2510 P10 (which I think is currently being discontinued and replaced by PAP2510 P14). englishstiv, thanks a lot. I`ll try to contact them.
Terry, according to my online translator other expressions are bush/slide or sleeve bearing
Don`t know about Chevy engines, but the Duc Superlight uses one for its hanging rear caliper bracket.

if anyone cares to know, the new P14 types are RoHS compliant (Restriction of Hazardous Substances, hence leadfree)
