Laverda Question . . .

Post by Rhino »

Does anyone happen to know if any of the Laverda big triples (Jota/3C/SFC/Mirage/1200 etc etc) had a gearlever/gearchange on the left side?

To my knowledge the triples all had right side shift, ala this 1982 model

somewhere along the production(1982?) the crank phasing changed from 180 to 120 and the ignition was changed to the left hand side and was electronic and a higher output alternator ,also the Aussie, UK and South African models came with higher lift cams than the rest

to my knowledge all the Laverda in Europa had the right side shift, in USA the shift was on the left.
