How old are Paso riders ?

Post by Paul »

I get the impression that we Paso riders tend to be of the "more mature" type. I don't think that the typical Paso rider is in his (another assumption) teens or twenties. I thought I would start a poll to try and find out the age of a typical Paso rider / owner.

I was going to add an extra option for "as old as Skins", but I didn't think that would be nice.

I am 36 & have been on the Paso for 2+ years.

When I was 21 I bought my BMW K100RS. At the time I was bagged out for being an old fart so I guess I have always been mature beyond my years.

Do we have to discuss this?? I'd rather discuss what oil to use or what chain lube is better.

Paul,
I have noticed you seem to have accidentally forgotten to mention your age when you started this topic. :D

Jon,
I use Motul 5100 Synthtech & Fuchs Chain gel (less fly off & a cleaner white rear rim) From your post we gather you are one of the 2 "Elders" of the site.

I'm older than my Cadet but I'm still a 16 YO at heart with a wee bit of Hooligan thrown in for good measure.

Jon I was just perusing the D.O.C. Presidents meeting gallery in the Ducati site. I think I saw a few Pics of you in there (you are President of D.E.S.M.O. Correct?) & if that is you you have nothing to be ashamed of. you are not as old as you want us to think you are

That would be me and my better 7/8-ths enjoying Italy. I'm not trying to make you think I'm old, I am old. My kids tell me every day!

Italy was just fabulous and Ducati was a terriffic host. We had the time of a lifetime.

Red,

I've just turned 43 and have two sons (19 and 15) who constantly remind me that I am old.

Nice to hear from you, steele. I thought maybe you'd got stuck in the seat of that Busa and just headed for the horizon. How's it going?
