ALL Pasos are very simple motorbikes!

Post by Finnpaso »

... I found that just!!!! (at least!)

Short story: I started to think maintain my ST4S, cause need to check valve adjustments, put new lighter valve springs from 748R(Yes, surely 4 valvers have springs there....   ), need to check engine timing same time, cause it can be done same time quite easily... I lookeed my ST4S in maitain table and realized very fastly, that its much easier to take engine out from frame to do what needeed, so it took 10 hours to take all needeed off from bike to "ready for drop" engine out from frame.....   Tomorrow i will make some metal, or wooden plate to drop engine out from frame to table with car lifter. I have also "hanged" ST to roof with 2 lifters, one from front triple clamp and another from back of frame, so i can adjust lifting frame, if need to do that.... I have also that "paddock lifter" in swingarm, if need to "adjust" rear. Have to take hole swingarm out from engine, cause it goes though engine cases.... I know now, that taking engine away from Paso frame is MUCH simple thing!!! I have done that also sometimes! This ST4S is FULL of stuff inside frame and MUCH complicated motorbike.... Anyway i like to do all this, cause i LOVE that VERY powerfull ST4S engine with 117HP from rear wheel, 128HP from clutch.... I take engine out and take it to one Ducati guru(my very good friend, who owns 888 SP4) here and he make all needeed to engine that time, i am resting in sun in Egypt/Hurghada 10.1.-29.1.07 :D :D :D I want to pay this time to him some €, that i can only rest in sun and load "my batteries", cause i have had very hard autumn this time.... Any taughts??? :funny:
