Reuse and Recycle

Post by gail »

Hi Pasofists, working on the trusty steed the other day and noticed that the battery breather hose was slightly short, and having read on an earlier post of the potential for acid scarring to occur I went to my favourite shopping complex ,our local rubbish dump, to procure said needed bit.The fascinating array of worldly goods on display that can be utilised once again is invigorating. We are fortunate to have a free range site without Tip cops  , What a Joy  Generally the mechanical scavenging is ravaged upon all of the old motor vehicles ,anything you need (apart from a 996 motor or a green frame 750ss  ). Bolts and nuts ,light globes, electrical wires, breather tubes and hoses, switches etc. etc.(How much do you need?) its a shoppers paradise,Hell you can even take home the kitchen sink. What you cant get from here aint worth having, so for the sake of thrift use the local resources and Reuse and Recycle
