Your bike was the reason why I didn't buy the new Monster.
Just when I wanted to order a 696 Monster at the Ducat dealer (I allready had doubts about the headlamps, the holes in the tank and the trompet shapped exhaust) a Monster s4 stopped at the store.
De drivers looked at my preferred red new Monster and said: "I like mine better".
I thought he was right.

Finland: what will it take to get a "10" from you? More carbon, I guess!

I know what you mean -- I'm trying to like the M 1100S, but it doesn't hang together for me. I've read good reviews, and look it over in the dealer showroom, but ...

Its a very good bike, might be just overdone on the design:
- The headlamp (why in 3 pieces)
- The exhaust (why trumpet shaped)

But maybee it is so forwarded we can't see its brilliancy.

Well, I used to have red hair, from the Italian side of the family, all redheads, but now I look kind of like Uncle Chester (Cesare Tartaglione, that is) as I remember him from oh, so long ago ...
