wow: the power of ebay

Post by fasterdammit »

As far as I know, you can still get turn signal lenses from Ducati - you might have to wait a month or so, but last time I bought one (last season) it was $5 and I got charged $7 to have it shipped.
Somebody just paid $38 for one plus another $8 to ship it off ebay.

Ouch.

Pays to shop around, that's for sure; but hey - more power to the guy selling it. I guess something's value is not necessarily what its worth is; because it was apparently worth it to somebody to pay $46 for a $5 lens ...

Ebay, where suckers are frequently and expediently relieved of their finances.

I know you're just breaking chops Mike, but your prints are unobtanium and completely worth the price. But $46 for a Paso turn signal lens?!

Oh wait, you didn't buy it, did you ... ? :ugh: :neener:

... unless you're telling me that I could've found those prints elsewhere for cheaper ...

HM? Just busting back on ya - wouldn't matter if I could anyway, since we are here breaking each other's stones - just makes those prints that much more valuable! ;)
