Greetings from Bologna!!

Post by jcslocum »

Fellow Paso-ista,

I have traveled to Bologna for the 2005 DOC Presidents meeting representing my club from the NYC tri-state area; DESMO. We (Barbara and I) have arrived in Bologna today to 90 deg weather, jet lagged and hungry. So, what do you think is the first thing we did?? SHOP!! Baby needed some new Italian sandals!

We are having a great time and tomorrow we will meet everyone from the factory and begin our week in Tuscany finishing with the MotoGP races it Mugello. I'll try to post a little update each day if I can. The hotel across from the Ducati factory has high speed wireless, so (today) it's quite easy.

Jon,

If you see any nice bits and pieces lying around in the factory, and your pocket is big enough, think of us...

Have a nice time on your trip.

Just a quick update:

All is perfect here in Italia. We are having a great time and the other club presidents that I am meeting are all very nice and interested in meeting other members from around the world.

The riding here is indescribable! Hundereds of turns for miles and miles without a car in sight.

I cantell you with certainty that I have broken every traffic law on record while riding here. All riders are insane!

I must go now as the party is just getting warmed up at 1AM!!!!!!

More to come when I return.

Lovely stuff. It's nice to feel even remotely part of something like that.
