I went as far as to buy a set,but even tho the screws are a pain in the arse they do look good :thumbup: :lol: :beer:

i believe that dzus fasteners don't have enough 'give' and will eventually stress crack the fibreglass

I've done a Dzus job on my Hailwood replica. but not the piercing like hangers.
I used normal slotted ones. In the DZUS catalog at that I saw also allen nut heads. If I do the job once again I would go for the allen heads.
lenght of the fasteners can be ordered in ssteps of 2 or 3 mm.
No, they as far no so forgiving as the wellnuts.

benefit of the DZUS is clear. I could all the plastic incl. tank and seat within 5 min. on the Hailwood replica.
