Disappearing Rural Gas Stations

On my way down from Mt Palomar, I passed what was once a Chevron station on CA76 in Pauma Valley. Now it's just a dull beige auto service shop. Next door is a "convenience store" which means you can buy stuff you don't need at very high prices, but hey, a guy needs a pick me up every now and then.
This is an area where folks grow lots of avocados with a beautiful mountain in the background. Today was the last ride on my Paso, sadly, because I intend to decommission it until I figure out what to do about tires.
