Come on Nigel,blazing928 wrote:Hi Jeff
Bob Brown recommended the ST2 over the others, as the other models were very hard to work on and therefore lots more $$$$ to service. He even did a wet clutch conversion to his own bike.
The new Multi has much longer service intervals, to compete with the BMWs.
Its very fast, maybe too fast! So far a few in the DOCV, all good reports, Paola riding his around the world was very impressed by its reliability.
ABS would be a good safety feature, so no clear choice!
Haven't seen a 907 for sale all year! happy to sell mine for $25K
you will never sell your 907's...and come to think of it, neither will I. I just love riding the things.
I am trying to steer my brother to the ST4s or the ST2, though servicing costs arent an issue for him so the former may be the go.
The simplicity of the ST2 would be better for me though as I seem to remember the engine comes from the air/oil cooled 900ss engine of the early '90s bikes...and no doubt, I will get calls from him for servicing tips.
Anyway, time will tell. I have put the options to him and the decision will now be his.
Thanks to all that have given advice on this forum, as usual, all has been taken into account. Some very wise thinkers here.
Nigel, I intend riding my 907 down to Melb' for the Xmas period. Fancy a run somewhere?
All the best to everyone for a safe and Merry Christmas too by the way.

Re: What to buy??
Wise advice: ST4s.
Sneaky adv: ST2, get him to like 2V 900 grunt.
And when he gets envious of your bikes good looks,
voila, he has to buy an 907!
6 beers make me give sound advice......
