Breeding Ducatis?

Post by 907pasonut »

I'm trying to breed a new ducati thoroughbred, and since my 907 is on heat I keep her together with the 851, hoping that they will get amorous and mate...has anybody tried this?

...nothing wrong with a bit of a laugh during this silly season

on a more serious note and keeping the content "paso related"...after having some time to ride the 851 around...you cant help but appreciate this purpose built bike, it has that deep throat exhaust note that even with the factory pipes is so noticeable and cannot be matched by a paso no matter what exhaust pipe you fit, Im not sure if the difference are the 4valves, or that radical cam grind (or both) that note spells out... I mean business!
...but that riding position makes you appreciate the paso even more so, and for anyone thinking of owning a 851 (888 if your lucky) my opinion is go for it (try to get the superbike model, single seat) BUT dont sell your paso (good luck with your bidding Frankie!)
both are purpose built...but the paso is a very elegant mile muncher
Cheers Claude.

I'm trading for an earlier 851 SP mono seat.
Not in a good shape, but a very rare bike which I'm falling in love for.

You misunderstand,I to would like an 851, not an 888 or 916 or 999
Only an 851 will do

If your method bears any offspring, you can call your baby bike..."two dogs!!"

Sorry Claude these guys obviously don't know what they're talking about.
If you cross a 907 and a 916 (as I'm trying to do in my garage) the obvious result will be a Porsche.
(907 + 916) divide by 2 = 911
Like I said a Porsche
and NO
It hasn't happened yet.
