Higgy,

Heard from him about 3-4 weeks ago. He had done the train trip across Russia, a 4 week event, which used up his one off long service leave additional holiday of 4 weeks. So, now he is on "normal" annual leave, believe that he could be in Romania with is brother in law as they were planning a trip down that way on their ST2s.
So, he still lives, but out of reach.
Cheers,
Fraser.

I am still alive.... "Burn out" from workplace and just ending 2.5 weeks in illness holidays after "lumbago" in left side of back..... life is not easy here...... Anyway not so much time to "play with these web sites", as too much more important things to do... Sorry, guys.....

Anyway i managed to do that 4 week holidays in Trans Siberian Railways visiting "very far east", Vladivostok and coming back to west by BAM railway..... Then i was 4 weeks in Romania area with my ST2. But i have driven near all asphalt roads there (many of then many times!), so i am looking anotherkind bike, what Ducati and Paso's are.. It will be KTM 990 Adventure..... We shall see, if i have enough "condition" still few years? If I shall have, i shall buy such bike and feel something DIFFERENT, what i couln't ever feel with Paso's or with ST series bikes.... I think, life have to go on and have search some better opinions to get STILL something new with this high age of 52 years... All best to EVERYONE to YOU !!!

And Antti, I'm 57 so you can make it at least that far    Many in the local group I ride with are well into their 60's and 70's and have many different bikes. One thing that has helped me a lot is bar risers on both the Paso's. I do on occasion get the old man hip lock up so I may in the future lower the foot pegs

KTM's are nice

Few news: I have been out from workplace since 9.1.2013 and i ill try to go to workplace 2.5. Reason for such is simply "burn-out". I have suffered since last summer sleeping problems and also my blood pressure went very high; so, my doctor ordered me immediatelly to long illness holidays and now i eat depression and blood pressure medicines. My power went totally off in start of january and i had to go to see doctor.

I havent had power to read any mc forums (like this), sorry, Guys......

Also i havent had power to maintain so much my bikes, only most important things have been done. Anyway i try to go to Romanian (Transylvanian) mountains in summertime with my KTM Adventure. Also i try to visit Russian Kerelia with KTM few times next summer.....

Pitty, that i have done too much work and then i dont have power anymore to another things. :,(

If you haven't already done so, see more doctors and get some tests but don't let them give you too many drugs. Above all try to think positive.

Best Wishes, Keith.

Eat less drugs you can. Think positive and do all the things you like.

I'm waiting for you.
Ciao

First time here for very long time, (about "half of year", sorry guys). ....Too many mails to read from forums, etc.... such takes few weeks!!!!

I have "question": I have one ORIGINAL 907IE with original red paintwork. What shall i do for it??? Surely repaint , but to original red, or change it to "original" black??? Tecnically it is in very good condition, expect fairings need to be repaint. All advices will be welcome ;-)

Is its "value" better with "tuned" or "original" ???
